I understand that Covid has caused issues but ive stayed at “cheaper” hotels in the last 12 months who were able to provide a breakfast option For a hotel who present them as a higher end hotel (and charge for it) you have failed across the board. Why not recommend Egg Harbor Café across the river? Google did and it was a success. Well the grocery items consisted of deli meat and muffins and the coffee shop wasn’t much better with a line out of the door. I was told the breakfast options are the “grocery” items in the marketplace or the coffee shop downstairs. You have 2 restaurants on premises but nothing served for breakfast. Bathroom – there was mildew around the shower, a contact lens stuck to the side of the bathroom vanity and only 2 bath towels to share. If we had booked a balcony room, the balcony would have been completely pointless. We weren’t offered anything for our inconvenience and I know I wasn’t alone because the people checking out in front of us had the exact same complaint. There should have been a warning on the website prior to booking. We could not get peace or relaxation in our room. That music did not finish until after 10pm and sound check started at 10am the next morning. If I checked out it would have still cost me $150. When I called the front desk to complain, I was told that the only rooms available were on the same side. Now, normally I wouldn’t completely judge the hotel because of this but management knew about the festival. On the other side of the River was a music festival. The flooring feels cheap and the lighting is distracting, and then we went to check out the view. Room - The room seemed clean and neat but in person the finishes do not match the photos on the website. On 3rd floor, theres a sign that the ice machine is at the end of the hallway however the end of the hallway is a T intersection with no signage on which direction to go. There is no indication that there are 2 towers or that they have identical room numbers. Hotel – you need major signage improvements. And that’s when things started going down.
